School Party (3/19/07)...

Monday, the day after Noah's birthday, Cesar and I took the day off. Noah went to school while Cesar and I watched a movie and went to lunch. We then took cupcakes to school for the afternoon snack in celebration of the big 2. I really thought that Noah would be clingy and not play with his friends while we were there, but to my surprise I was totally wrong. He did look a bit confused when we walked in with their snacks, but he sat in his chair and chowed down with the rest of his classmates. After everyone ate and got cleaned up (quite a process, I must say), we went outside with the new favorite toy, the Bubble Machine! It was quite a hit with the kiddos. It was so funny to watch them all. After the novelty wore off, most of them started playing on the outside toys. Noah and Cole sat on the barrel for a while and then both got on the see-saw. I took tons of pictures and Cesar manned the video camera. We are really trying hard at this documentation thing!

Noah's Birthday Party (3/17/2007)...

Noah was quite the host on Saturday for his birthday party. It was a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. His Nana made him a Mickey Mouse cake that he was very impressed with. It's as if he knew that it was his birthday because all day long he was asking for a "tuptake". When it was time to sing he got a bit embarrassed and covered his eyes, but when it was done he grabbed a cupcake and shoved it in his mouth. The hit of the party was the bubble machine that Uncle Cande, David, and Michael brought. Noah LOVED the masses of bubbles. There are a ton of other picture from my camera and Dooda's camera but the bubble pictures are really the highlight of the party! Although he did get into opening gifts this year...or rather throwing the paper around! His Grammy gave him a little play house he has been constantly playing in. I will have to post pictures of him in it later. All in all a good time was had by everyone. He had a lot of family and friends around to help celebrate, even is GG and Grandpa came (his Great-Grandma Flo and Great-Grandpa Gene).

2 Year Old Pictures (3/16/07)...

Friday, March 16, Cesar and I took the day off and spent it with Noah taking his 2 year old pictures and getting ready for his birthday party. We went to New Braunfels to have Shelby take some shot of him. He liked playing with the toys she had there and running around the studio, but he wasn't too keen on actually getting his picture taken. In most of the pictures he has Mr. Potato head or at least his arm. Needless to say, you can tell that she is a great photographer because she still got some good pictures out of our time there. When we left Noah had a total meltdown...He kept saying "Mine, mine, mine" (referring to the Mr. Potato head we were leaving behind). This truly marks our pilgrimage into the 2's.

Visit to the Zoo (3/4/07)...

The day after Cesar's Birthday we all decided to go to the zoo. First Papo, Grammy, Carlos, Joshua, Cesar, Noah , and I went to eat breakfast at Le Peep. Then we went to the park outside the zoo. Sharron, Christina, Randy, and Victoria met us at the zoo. It was a beautiful day! Noah had a blast at the park...he is fearless on the slides. He and Josh did just about everything there was to do.

Cesar's Birthday (3/3/07)...

Cesar turned 30 this year on March 1st. He's such a young one! Here are a few shots from his birthday at Papasitos. We had planned on doing a happy hour and a big party, but our plans were preempted by Mr. Noah getting sick. Cesar had to be content with a smallish party at Papasitos. It ended up being really nice. In attendance were his parents, Joshua, Carlos, Randy, Christina, Victoria, Sharron, Monica, Danny, Amy, Monica G, Justen, Katherine, Mackenzie, Homer, Lisa, Malory, Rodney, Erin, Kenneth, Evelyn and Noah and me. It was a good time!

Visit From My Friend (2/3/07)...

We've been a bit absent from the blogging world lately, so here goes. In early February the Lanes came to see us. We had a really nice visit (minus the few hours that we did not have hot water and thought we needed to purchase a new hot water heater!). The boys played really well together. Here are a few shots from the visit (I took a ton at the playground, this is only a few!).
