Memorial Weekend 2008

Memorial Day weekend we took a trip to Houston. Saturday morning Noah and Nana made cupcakes together (one of Noah's favorite desserts!).
Noah eating his handy work!

We got to meet my cousin's baby girl for the first time. Anison is a cutie. She just hung out with everyone! We got to see my cousin Sharon, Aunt Carol, and Tiffany. It was a very nice day.

Noah finally got into the pool. He has never wanted anything to do with pools, but this weekend he discovered that they can be fun. He had a great time with his water squirters. If you were short range you really got a face full of water.

We met up with some friends at the mall on Sunday. These are Greg and Amber's kiddos. We only saw them for about an hour and a half, but it was good to catch up.

Noah and Daddy maxin' and relax' at the end of the day on Sunday. They were snacking on popcorn and watching the Spurs game...GO-SPURS-GO!

Who are these people....Have you seen them?

Cesar is doing a Leadership Lab through the Chamber of Commerce this year. He had to take a picture of himself to his last session that was at least 5 year old. We busted out some of the pictures and were amazed at how young we looked (and thin, but we won't go there right now)! We look the same, but different if that makes sense.

College Station Trip - April 2008

Little Buddies...Noah and Jacob played really well together this trip. They've always done well, but the age gap seems to be closing a bit as they age. They were really fun to watch.

Fun at the park. I think Amy was doing double duty for a bit pushing both boys!

"Here, want some rocks?"

We took the boys bowling, which was hilarious. Jacob really threw his ball out there whereas Noah did it granny shot style. They both had a good time. Noah wanted to take the bowling shoes home with him!

Queen Ainsley (as Noah refers to her) and Noah

Can you feel the L-O-V-E!
We got to see almost all our friends in College Station that weekend. We saw the Lanes, the Johnstons, and the Porters. It was a good time...Noah came home talking about Jacob, Wyatt, and Ainsley....sorry Owen he did even really acknowledge your existence! These are only a handful of the picture...

Random Picture

New Year's Eve "Eve" Cesar surprised Noah and I by reserving a night down at the riverwalk. We stayed at a hotel on the river called La Mansion. Our balcony opened onto the river and Noah was absolutely in heaven. He sat outside on the balcony waving at all the river boats that went by. We did the touristy stuff that we have not done in forever. We took a river boat ride and a carriage ride. Everything was still decorated for Christmas so it was very festive. Noah did not want to go home the next day...he kept saying "No, I go back my room" (we think he liked the room service!).

Rodeo time! We went to see Alan Jackson at the rodeo this year. Noah totally vegged out during the rodeo and concert (little did we know he was getting sick and had a fever by that night). We walked some of the carnival and called it a night. He looked so cute in his cowboy garb!

Noah got some cars and some other random items in his Easter basket, but the "hit" item was the Spiderman umbrella. He carried it around the house for several days!

Noah's Class Picture Spring 2008

Above is Noah's class picture from this spring. I think they took the pictures in March sometime around his birthday. He was absent for the individual pictures, but happened to be in class the day of the class pictures. Noah's little buddy Cayden is in the back row in a red shirt. They do everything together at school! The little girl to the right of Noah (with the pink shoes on) is Sofia. She and Noah have been in school together since they were 12 weeks old. She informed one of the other parents last week that she was going to marry Noah!

23 Weeks 4 Days

Some great profile shots! Already such a cutie!

You can see his arm and one foot....5 toes...one less thing to have to check when he comes out!

Confirmation that "HE" is in fact a he.
So this week as opposed to 4 weeks ago, he was actually posing for his photos. He was breech and face up. Not how I want him to be when he comes out, but great for the camera. The tech was very pleased with his behavior this week. Everything looks good and at this point all is well...we are just waiting about 16 more weeks to meet him in person!

19 Weeks 3 Days

He was laying facing down in this picture. You can see his spine at the top of the oval blob (don't you love my technical terms). And yes...I said He!

These are rear shots. You can clearly see the little penis between the legs in these pictures. There's no denying it...we are continuing the Ontiveros' boy tradition! The tech could not get all the shots she wanted because he would not cooperate, so we had to schedule another ultrasound 4 weeks later. She got all the measurements she needed though.

6 Weeks 4 Days

The first ultrasound on 1/7/2008 at approximately 6 weeks and 4 days. The estimated due date is 8/28/2008...so end of August or beginning of September!
